Volunteers

WE NEED YOU!
Family involvement is what makes a school GREAT!

Everyone benefits when schools and families work together to support learning, and we strive to create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for parents to be involved at our school.

There is a common perception of parents whose children are entering middle school for the first time that their child doesn’t want them active at their new school, or the staff doesn’t welcome parent participation like they experienced in elementary school. At Marshall, we want you to be involved in the campus community. We promise, you can make a difference and still respect your student’s growing independence.

There are numerous volunteer opportunities at Marshall including the school store, library, main office, tutoring, and substitute teaching. The PTSA has organized a number of standing committees that work to support the students and school: Honor Roll Assemblies, Tutoring, Enrichment, Grant Writing, Building and Grounds, Lunch/Hallway Monitoring, Falcon Fathers, Teacher and Staff Appreciation, Publicity, New Parent Orientation, Evening of Wonder, Fine Arts Showcase, 8th-grade Celebration Ceremony, etc. We need parents to help with all of these committees.

Please take a moment to complete the Volunteer Opportunity form below. By submitting this form you are not committing to anything, just showing an interest to receive more details. Whether you are interested in serving on our PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association), CAC (Campus Advisory Council), or other volunteer opportunities on campus, we have a place for you at General Marshall Middle School
