School counselors are available to every student in the school. At Marshall, our counselors follow students through their three years of middle school and form relationships with students and parents to help navigate and support them through the middle school years.
Counselors are available for any student concern and maintain students’ privacy unless there is a possibility of potential harm. If there is an emergency, students or parents should contact the counselor immediately. Otherwise, the student may fill out a Request to See the Counselor form in the office between passing periods or before/after school. A student may ask a teacher for permission and they will contact the counselor.

Fun Facts:
I have three beautiful daughters.
I love tea with creamer.
I love to read and watch inspirational movies.
I got my bachelor's degree in Psychology from La Sierra University and received my master's in school counseling from Point Loma University both in California. I have been a counselor for an extended period and have worked in Texas for the past 11 years. I have served in all grade levels; however, Middle School is my favorite place to be.
I look forward to working with our 6th-grade students and their families this school year. As a community of educators, students, and families, I hope that we will unite to establish a positive, inclusive, and productive culture at our emerging campus.
