As we settle into this new week, our counseling team is finalizing class schedules, making minor roster adjustments for what is left of leveling, and double-checking enrollment for some of our special programs. If you have specific concerns regarding your child’s schedule, please reach out directly to their assigned Alpha Assistant Principal and Counselor so we can get it resolved quickly.
The Ram Report - 10/5 - 10/9
We had an amazing Homecoming week! It was incredible to see our phenomenal student performers shine during our Homecoming assembly, and we capped off the celebrations with a big win from our 8th-grade boys football team at our Homecoming game. Thank you to everyone who showed up and cheered on our students!
The Ram Report - 9/28 - 10/2
It was so much fun seeing our students show off their creativity and style during the first half of Homecoming dress-up days last week!
The Ram Report 9/22 - 9/25
I hope you all had a restful 3 day weekend! I could totally get used to having 3 day weekends twice a month like we have been so lucky to have this September. This was much needed as we gear up to a busy week ahead.
The Ram Report - 9/14 - 9/18
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Before we jump into the week ahead, I want to clarify a few details regarding our master schedule and share some exciting administrative and event updates for our campus. First, I want to apologize for any confusion caused by my previous message regarding scheduling. To be completely clear, we are not moving to 4 periods a day. We are keeping our current 5x5, 10-period schedule. Our team will be spending this week working on scheduling adjustments behind the scenes, so it will be business as usual for our students, and they should continue attending their regular daily schedules without interruption. More updates will be provided as we progress through this process.
The Ram Report - 9/7 - 9/11
I hope everyone had a wonderful three-day weekend and enjoyed some well-deserved rest and quality time together. It was an extra exciting week on campus prior to the break, highlighted by CBS visiting to film an episode of America ByDESIGN. Our students did an absolute amazing job representing GMMS! Their focus and leadership were on full display throughout the entire production, and we couldn't be prouder of how brilliantly they showcased our school community.
The Ram Report - 8/31-9/4
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Back to School Night! It was wonderful seeing our hallways filled with parents, guardians, and community members eager to meet our teachers and support our students. A huge shoutout goes to our incredible Dance Team and student leaders, their hard work with setup and cleanup made the entire evening run seamlessly, and their help was so greatly appreciated. The event was a total success, even though I am mad at myself for getting so caught up in the excitement that I forgot to take any photos to share! Speaking of great events, if you missed our 8th-grade volleyball matches this past week, you missed a complete nail-biter and a phenomenal performance. Both our A and B teams dominated the court and started our home season opener off strong!
